Professor
Kelly Chu's CMN 398: Study Abroad class focuses on Advertising and Social Media in China.
Chu and her students from all majors across the university are spending seven weeks at Fudan University in Shanghai this summer. During their stay in Shanghai, students will visit top advertising agencies and multinational companies to learn how global advertisers are using social media to target consumers in different cultures.
Students will also take Chinese language classes and participate in cultural activities such as calligraphy and Taiji. The program includes two excursions: one to Nanjing and one to Yellow Mountain.
