Academic Advising

Due to COVID-19, College of Communication academic advisors are advising students remotely beginning March 16, 2020. Students with appointments scheduled March 16 or later will be contacted by their advisor to coordinate a phone appointment or to address any questions over email.

To schedule a future phone appointment with your advisor, please visit BlueStar through Campus Connect.

Undergraduate

Academic advisors are the primary academic resource for communication majors and minors at DePaul. We're happy to work with you to develop an academic plan that will lead you toward degree completion. We can also assist you with any challenges you may encounter and will make appropriate referrals to other student resources as needed. See how to meet with your advisor

Graduate

The graduate advisor is the primary academic resource for graduate students in the College of Communication. The graduate advisor can assist with questions about registration (enrollment, withdrawal), academic policies, degree completion/graduation, probation and other policies and procedures within the graduate programs. It is highly recommended that students also meet with their program director throughout their program to discuss coursework, research interests, career potential and degree completion options.
