Academic Advising

Academic advisors are the primary academic resource for communication majors and minors at DePaul. Our staff follows the policies outlined in the university student handbook therefore you can expect the same information from any advisor. We are happy to work with you to develop an academic plan that will lead you toward degree completion. We can also assist you with any challenges you may encounter and will make appropriate referrals to other student resources as needed.

The graduate advisor is the primary academic resource for graduate students in the College of Communication. The graduate advisor can assist with questions about registration (enrollment, withdrawal), academic policies, degree completion/graduation, probation and other policies and procedures within the graduate programs. It is highly recommended that students also meet with their program director throughout their program to discuss coursework, research interests, career potential and degree completion options.
