June 2016 graduate and
Radio DePaul alum Eli Hershkovich has been hired as a producer at WBBM in Chicago. In addition to working behind the scenes to produce news content, he's hoping to join the team that produces Bears broadcasts.
“I can remember when Eli started at Radio DePaul,” said Scott Vyverman, faculty adviser for Radio DePaul. “His first slot was early Friday mornings. Our GM at the time told me that he was raw but had a lot of potential.
“It's very gratifying to see how far he's come in four years. So many shows, Demons games, and hours of dedicated service to our channels. Honestly, we probably wouldn't have our sports channel if not for Eli. He inspired me to start the channel and helped to shape the sound and mission of Radio DePaul Sports. He's graduating on a high note.”
