2021 Commencement

As COVID-19 remains a threat across the country and large gatherings are still limited, DePaul University has made the difficult decision to host virtual commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2021. We know this is not the commencement the Class of 2021 and their loved ones hoped for, and DePaul understands your frustration.

To celebrate the Class of 2021, DePaul is planning the following:

  • On-campus outdoor activities over 10 days in May (more details to come)
  • Online commencement celebrations on Saturday, June 12, 2021 for all colleges (except for the College of Law, which will take place in May)
  • A commencement kit including memorabilia will be shipped to every graduate
  • Optional cap and gown is available for purchase

Visit the DePaul University commencement website for more information.
