The College of Communication offers a variety of undergraduate majors and minors, and graduate degree programs, as well as a minor and concentration in Latino Media & Communication.
Students can complement their academic studies by completing an internship for credit and participating in co-curricular activities and organizations and student media.
Our undergraduate majors prepare students to develop fundamental knowledge and understanding of communication processes and practices. Students become critical thinkers and gain practical skills by taking advantage of experiential learning opportunities.
Students who have achieved a high level of academic
success can earn both an undergraduate and graduate degree at an
accelerated pace in our Combined Degree Programs.
Our graduate programs attract working professionals, recent college graduates and “career changers” – all seeking perspective, skills and an interdisciplinary education that blends theory and practice. Graduates are sought by corporations, agencies, media outlets and non-profit organizations. Students are also prepared to enter top-ranked PhD programs.
