During that time, Dustin will be work at a reduced teaching course load as he researches and prepares his project entitled “Fred Astaire’s Dancing Lessons”.

Dustin was selected for the fellowship along with two other DePaul scholars, Yuki Miyamoto of Religious Studies and Greg Scott of Sociology, both based in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Each of the two-year fellows will examine the topic of filth via their research projects. The Center defines the studies as takes on the word filth “both broadly and creatively construed.”
