DePaul University’s College of Communication
Public Relations and Advertising (PRAD) program has been named a finalist in the
PRWeek Awards 2014 in the PR Education Program of the Year category.
Judging took place on Monday, December 2, when entries were reviewed, discussed and scored by a panel of 78 judges. The list of five finalists are now online at
PRWeek’s website, and will appear in the January 2014 issue of
PRWeek. The PRAD program is in good company – the other four nominees include American University School of Communication; Brigham Young University; Georgetown University, and the University of Alabama.
PRWeek conducts the public relations industry's top awards program. The awards event will take place in New York in March and will be attended by over 2,000 PR executives. The awards edition of
PRWeek is a staple in every agency and college PR program.
"This accolade reflects a great deal of hard work from a lot of people in our PR program,” said Interim Dean Bruno Teboul, of the College of Communication. “A big thank you to all the
faculty in PRAD for working tirelessly to make this program what it is today. And, a huge shout out must go to Ron Culp for his leadership in bringing to the program the recognition it so fully deserves.”
