Katie Walsh

Katie Walsh has been with the college’s academic advising staff since 2010. Many of you may be familiar with Katie as she graduated from the Master of Arts in organizational and multicultural communication in 2010.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then working in New York City in public relations for Carolina Herrera for three years, Katie found her way back to Chicago in 2005. Katie worked in DePaul’s athletic academic advising department for four years where she provided advising and life skills to student athletes.
During her time as a graduate student at DePaul, Katie was a teaching assistant for Communication 101 and had a great fondness for working closely with students. She was also a proud member of DePaul’s Academic Integrity Board. Her valuable advising experience, passion and appreciation for DePaul’s College of Communication will contribute to the excellent academic support to our students.
