Reporting Metro Chicago Concentration

Course Requirements

The graduate concentration in Reporting Metro Chicago prepares students for work in urban reporting by introducing them to the communities, institutions, and decision-makers that impact citizens across the metro area. Students will learn how to cover critical urban issues through a variety of print and online platforms that serve citizens with fascinating stories drawn from across the city. Students must take 1 core course (4 credits) and 3 elective courses  (12 credits).
