Jay Cohen is a sports writer and editor for The Associated Press. He spends about half of his time covering sports in Chicago and the other half on the AP’s national sports desk, editing stories from all over the world. He grew up in Cincinnati, holds degrees from Ohio University (journalism) and Northwestern (master’s in sports administration), and worked at The Journal Gazette in Fort Wayne, Indiana, before joining the AP in 2003.
