Chris Bury is DePaul's senior journalist in residence. He is a Peabody and Emmy-award winning reporter and anchor who covered stories around the world during 30 years at ABC News, where he rose to national correspondent.
For much of his career, Bury was based in Washington, D.C. for the
Nightline program where he served as principal substitute anchor for Ted Koppel. He continues to work in journalism, reporting stories from across the country for the
America Tonight program on Al Jazeera America and hosting a weekly public affairs program on WYCC-TV (PBS) in Chicago.
