Edmund Lawler was a senior journalism instructor and faculty advisor to The DePaulia
from 1996 to 2006.
He was a reporter or editor for newspapers in Tucson, Phoenix, Indianapolis and the Chicago bureau of the Associated Press, and he was a columnist and managing editor of Crain’s BtoB magazine. Ed is the author of six business books, including three about the late Chicago restaurateur Charlie Trotter.
A freelance writer and editor, Ed contributes articles on wellness to Next Avenue, a PBS website for people over 50. He has an MA in political science from the University of Notre Dame and a BA in journalism from Drake University.
