Amy S. Hasapis has been with DePaul teaching various communication classes since August 2013. Amy is originally from Michigan and did her undergrad and graduate coursework at Central Michigan University in Interpersonal and Public Communication with an Organizational and Interpersonal emphasis. Her research background is in grandparent-grandchildren relationships, specifically looking at stories that are shared within these relationships.
In her spare time Amy enjoys spending time with her four children, going to their soccer games, being outside at the beach and she also loves swimming. She's been a master swim coach for the last seven years and has taught swimming lessons for the past 25 years.
