PRAD Named a Finalist for Outstanding Education Program for a Record-Setting Tenth Year

DePaul won PRWeek's Outstanding Education Program Award in 2022 and 2018

The College of Communication's Public Relations and Advertising (PRAD) program is once again named a national finalist for Outstanding Education Program by industry leader PRWeek. This marks a tenth finalist showing for PRAD, more than any other competing institution. DePaul joins an impressive roster for award consideration, including the University of Alabama, the University of Florida, the University of Georgia, and the University of Southern California. The Outstanding Education Program Award will be announced at the 2025 PRWeek Awards in New York in March.

Known for excellence in cultivating industry leaders and innovators, PRAD won the Outstanding Education Program award twice previously, in 2022 and 2018. The program boasts a comprehensive curriculum of theory and practice that equips students to excel as leaders and practitioners. Students learn from an outstanding roster of scholars and leading professionals while benefiting from unparalleled opportunities for mentorship, networking, and professional development. This access to industry, combined with countless professional partners and an active alumni community, continues to make PRAD the educational program of choice for success in the field.

Congratulations to the dedicated faculty, staff, professional partners, and alumni of the PRAD community! This tenth PRWeek  finalist nomination indicates a continued commitment to excellence and student success that makes the program stand out on the national stage. For more information about PRAD, including undergraduate and graduate opportunities, visit the program's website.
