The interdisciplinary programs in Communication and Media include a master’s in Communication and Media with two distinct areas of concentration—Applied Communication or Media & Popular Culture—and undergraduate programs in Communication and Media, Organizational Communication, and Media and Popular Culture (formerly Media and Cinema Studies). In addition, our  Communication and Media BA can be completed partially or fully online.

Students explore the impact of communication and media in a variety of contexts including popular culture, the corporate world, interpersonal relationships, new media and more. Students develop skills across modes such as digital media, film and television, performance, and verbal and nonverbal communication.

“My DePaul degree really differentiates me from others. The perspective I bring is different from that of my colleagues ... My degree program helped me synthesize very complex information into assertive and meaningful messages that help the people who matter.”
