Graduate Admission

​ Applicants must demonstrate a capacity for achievement through past academic or professional work. The College of Communication looks at each application as a unique presentation of a candidate's profile and will consider a variety of information sources.

General Admission Requirements

A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required for admission to College of Communication graduate programs. To be admitted, applicants must demonstrate, through past academic or professional work, a capacity for achievement. The College of Communication looks at each application as a unique presentation of a candidate's profile and will consider a variety of information sources. Students applying to any of the College of Communication graduate programs must:

  • Have earned a bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited higher education institution
  • Submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
  • Complete and submit the online application
  • Submit letters of recommendation
  • Submit a résumé
  • Submit a statement of purpose or answer essay questions
  • Submit GRE scores (for Public Relations and Advertising applicants with less than a 3.0 GPA only)
