The answer to that question is as multifaceted as our fields of study, but one that we encourage every student to explore on their professional journey. See a sampling of the many careers that a communication degree can lead toward:

Career outcomes for master’s degree recipients

Each year, the DePaul University Career Center surveys the College of Communication’s graduating class to assess their post-graduation status. Graduates are surveyed at graduation and six months after degree completion. Employment data also is gathered from LinkedIn profiles.

of College of Communication master’s degree recipients were employed, continuing their education or pursuing other goals within six months of graduation.

These graduates are working in marketing, advertising and public relations, education, media and entertainment, healthcare, and nonprofits.
