Provide education support to refugee families
<div class="ck-content"><p>Forging Opportunities for Refugees in America (FORA), provides high-impact, one-on-one tutoring for pre-literate students in Chicago’s West Ridge neighborhood. DePaul students have volunteered with FORA for many years and College of Communications students now have a dedicated opportunity to help bolster FORA’s volunteer tutor recruitment and retention efforts.</p></div>

Create and influence culture at the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo
<div class="ck-content"><p>Students in our Media and Pop Culture Program (MPOP) can immerse themselves in the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo (C2E2), the biggest pop culture convention in Chicago and a hub for the comic book and entertainment community. In our C2E2 course, learn what it takes to cultivate creativity, fandom and networking opportunities from the agents, talent managers, industry professionals and artists who make C2E2 possible.</p></div>

The college offers a choice of Master of Arts degree programs to help students advance their careers. These programs span high-demand areas such as public relations and advertising, journalism, communication and media and health communication, among others.
Undergraduate Majors
What is the Communication and Media undergraduate major?
The Communication and Media (CMN) program is designed for students interested in multiple communication fields. As a CMN major, you acquire fundamental communication and critical thinking skills needed for jobs across the public, private and non-profit sectors.
