Hello! I'm a bilingual Peruvian-American born in Chicago. DePaul University has given me a new opportunity to chase after my journalism career. I transferred last year as an undergrad student and now I'm a grad student continuing with my studies in journalism. I have journalism experience in writing for The Candor, The DePaulia and La DePaulia. In my free time, I like to read, catch up with the daily news or go for a nice walk if the weather is nice. Feel free to reach out to me—I'm open to helping out with any questions.
Hi! I’m a Chicago native attending DePaul as a full-time graduate student in journalism. I received my undergraduate degree in political science at DePaul as well, and I’m super excited to help you call DePaul home. My desire is to tell stories for the world to hear with emphasis on the African American experience. It has been a wonderful journey so far. I’m currently the secretary and treasurer of DePaul’s chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, and the vice president of DePaul’s chapter of the Association of Black Journalists. I would be glad to answer your questions about the College of Communication, student organizations or life at DePaul. Feel free to reach out anytime!
