About the Organization:
Tharzen, Inc is a 2019 startup from the University of Chicago. Tharzen provides WYSIWYG editing tools for hand-coded or complex CMS-based websites, targeted at small business owners, website agencies and digital marketing agencies.

About the Role:
Our internship program offers students experience on building social media advertising content, selling something that does not exist yet, while working closely with incredible startup founders. Interns are encouraged to approach every project with an eye towards resume building and professional development.
  • Participate in the brainstorming of website flow and content, create a specification document to give to front-end developers
  • Participate in the building of an address book of 100 Digital Marketing Agencies interested by our services, with phone calls, emails, visits and marketing campaigns
  • Elaborate Social Media content to promote business opportunities, targeted at different groups of customers
  • If interested, learn how to shoot a promotional movie from start to end: develop storyboards, work with existing clients, organize shooting, assemble videos., recruit freelancers for additional tasks (voiceover, …)
  • Participate at will in Polsky Exchange seminars for startups, marketing, human resources, legal issues.
  • Gain experience with communication and written skills as well as design tools
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age upon internship start date
  • Must be a legal U.S. resident
  • Must be enrolled as a full time student in a college or graduate school program
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Unpaid, for college credit.

Time Frame:
10-14 hours per week, one term (quarter or semester).
