Alexandria Jacobson is a multimedia journalist based in Chicago and an adjunct instructor at DePaul University, teaching Journalism 280: Introduction to Online Reporting and Production. She is a full-time staff reporter at the tech publication, Built In, where she writes feature stories about tech topics like artificial intelligence and data science.
Her work has been published by various outlets across the country, including ABC News, Chicago Sun-Times, The Chicago Reporter, ABA Journal, StreetWise Magazine, Social Justice News Nexus, The Lens and more. She was an instructor and interim director for the Medill Media Teens program at Northwestern University, an instructor for the Medill-Northwestern Journalism Institute and co-taught a journalism class for the Northwestern Prison Education Program. Alexandria earned her master's degree and bachelor's degree, with honors, from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism.
