Lauren Ignoffo is an adjunct professor in the College of Communication with a focus on digital media planning, buying and programmatic studies. Her research interests include the automation of digital buying, audience personalization, dynamic creative ad serving and attribution tracking.
Lauren is an alumnus of DePaul University with a BA in communication studies and a minor in public policy/urban studies. Her professional experience includes experience at some of the largest global advertising holding companies where she has held strategy, planning and leadership roles. Lauren began her career on Hewlett Packard (OMD) before moving to Boston to help negotiate the Bose NFL contract and pitching new business at MullenLowe. She has also worked on accounts such as Dish Network, Safelite and Fidelity Investments (HAVAS) before recently leaving ad agency life and making the leap to tech.
Lauren is currently the Midwest account director at Flashtalking, overseeing accounts such as Lowe’s, Best Buy, Wendy’s and Cox Business. Teaching at her alma mater remains one of her proudest accomplishments thus far.
