Rebeca Pop is an instructor in the Public Relations and Advertising program at DePaul University's College of Communication in Chicago, and an analytics professional with over six years of experience working primarily with CPG and automotive brands. Rebeca’s expertise includes data visualization, social media analytics, offline and digital media analytics.
Currently, Rebeca works with marketing managers to provide insights into their companies’ advertising and promotional activity. Previously, Rebeca was a Senior Project Manager at PRIME Research, a global communication and media analytics company. There, she was responsible for managing a team of two analysts and the team’s deliverables to four Fortune 500 companies.
Rebeca earned a MA in Strategic Communication from the University of Oklahoma and a BA in Communication and Public Relations from the University of Bucharest, Romania. She has presented her research and won several top paper awards at the International Public Relations Research Conference (IPRRC), the National Communication Association (NCA) and the International Communication Association (ICA). Rebeca’s scholarly work has been published in the Encyclopedia of Public Relations and in the peer-reviewed journal Public Relations Review.
Rebeca is fluent in English and Romanian, and semi-fluent in French and Italian. She enjoys living and working in international environments and has visited over 20 countries.
