Public Relations and Advertising (MA)

Recognized by the PRWeek Awards for four years running as one of the top five programs in the U.S., the Master of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising (PRAD) at DePaul University prepares graduates for successful careers in the public relations, advertising and integrated marketing communications fields. With a focus on digital, social and traditional media strategy and techniques, the program gives you the knowledge, know-how, and network to work successfully as a professionally competent, socially responsible and globally conscious practitioner.

Classes emphasize the principles of strategy, relationship management, critical thinking, ethics, and creativity in public relations and advertising. More than 100 PR and advertising agencies are located within a 10 block radius of the DePaul Loop campus in downtown Chicago. This location gives students plentiful opportunities to complete internships and work at some of the nation's largest public relations firms and advertising agencies. This ideal location and numerous opportunities to network with industry professionals allowed 100% of our 2015 PRAD graduates to be employed within six months after degree completion.
