The College of Communication and the Center for Journalism Integrity and Excellence hosted "An Evening With Clarence Page" on February 7, 2017, at the Union League Club of Chicago.
Clarence Page, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist, journalist, author, and Chicago Tribune editorial board member, provided a timely keynote, "How to Cover Politics in the Age of Twitter, 'Fake News' and 'Hidden Voters'."
The evening's welcome and introduction were presented by Center Co-Director Carol Marin. Closing remarks given by College of Communication Dean Salma Ghanem followed Mr. Page's talk and a Q&A. Afterwards, guests enjoyed a reception and conversation with Mr. Page.
Earlier in the day, Mr. Page talked about his career and working in the news with Carol Marin and a theater of Journalism students.
