Donald Martin

Donald Martin received his BS degree from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls in 1975. He earned his MA and PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in 1977 and 1980 respectively. Martin joined the faculty in the Department of Communication in 1981.

Martin teaches courses in communication and corporate culture, communication theory, small group communication, qualitative research methods, organizational change processes and power and politics in organizations.

Martin's most recent research explores the structure and function of corporate ritual, and the moral dilemmas encountered by patient representatives in health care contexts. ​
