The Media and Cinema Studies program combines courses from the film, television, radio and new media fields of study. You will gain a historical understanding of the media industry and analyze the cultural and social impact of media in our globalized world.

You will have access to DePaul's green screen studio, control room, editing suites and the digital equipment facility.

We also offer a five-year B.A./M.A. program in Media and Cinema Studies, which provides students with the critical thinking skills, historical grounding and research methodologies necessary for understanding and analyzing the cultural and social impact media.

The College of Communication is located in downtown Chicago, at DePaul's Loop campus, giving you access to many media outlets and allowing you to meet and work professionally with leading companies in the industry.
