PRAD Receives Honorable Mention for PR Week’s Program of the Year

“PR
Our graduate Public Relations and Advertising (PRAD) program received an honorable mention in this year’s Outstanding Education Program so named by PR Week. Here’s what the industry trade had to say about PRAD:

“A team of 16 full-time faculty and 10 adjuncts teach the diverse student body at DePaul’s graduate-level PR and advertising program. Led by Ron Culp and Matt Ragas, the ratio of grad students to instructors is kept at 15:1. Each of the most recent grads had landed a job within three months of graduation, compared with 95% the prior year. Applicants increased 25% last year; admissions by 52%. Students here won the grand prize and first-place award at the Arthur W. Page Society’s Case Study Competition; a third one captured the $5,000 Lagrant Foundation scholarship.”

Congratulations to Matt, Ron, and all the faculty and staff who go toward making our Public Relations and Advertising program the touchstone for PR education here in the Midwest and Chicago.
