PR Week
For the fourth year in a row, the DePaul Public Relations and Advertising (PRAD) graduate program has been named a national finalist for Outstanding Education Program by the 2017 PRWeek US Awards. The other finalists this year are American University, Georgetown University, University of Alabama, and Syracuse University.

The winner and honorable mention for Outstanding Education Program will be announced at the PRWeek Awards dinner in New York City on March 16, 2017.

Last year, the PRAD program was awarded honorable mention, second place, for Outstanding Education Program.

"The judges for the PRWeek Awards are the leaders of the public relations profession. To have received this recognition from them and PRWeek is quite the honor," said Matt Ragas, associate professor and academic director of the MA in PRAD program. "We could not be more excited for our students, faculty, alumni and the many top professionals that generously support our program, and its goal of developing the next generation of strategic communication leaders."

Now entering its 18th year, the PRWeek Awards recognize and celebrate the best of the best corporate, agency and education teams, and the work they produced during the entry period. 175 finalists were announced for a total of 39 awards.
