Ragas, Tran Digital Media Paper Cited by Harvard

The Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at the Harvard University Kennedy School and the Nieman Journalism Lab named our College of Communication Professors Matt Ragas and Hai Tran’s paper, “Beyond Cognitions,” one of their top dozen papers of 2013 on digital media scholarship. According to the Center, Ragas and Tran's research and report, “takes an empirical look at the evolving two-way street of how news coverage can drive online search — and how online search can also drive media coverage.”

The Center reviewed 800 academic articles in 2013 across 30 academic journals and think-tanks. One hundred articles were highlighted during the year and from these 100, a dozen were selected for this final list.

Congratulations on the honor and recognition of your work, Matt and Hai.
