ORG Student Wins LAGRANT Award

Rebecca Dailey-Wooley, a College of Communication graduate student in the Organizational and Multicultural Communication program, was recently selected by the LAGRANT Foundation as a 2012 Scholarship recipient.

The LAGRANT Foundation's mission is to increase the number of ethnic minorities in the fields of advertising, marketing and public relations by providing scholarships, career development workshops, professional development, mentors and internships to African American, American Indian/Native American, Asian Pacific American and Hispanic/Latino undergraduate and graduate students.

"I am very grateful and honored to receive this scholarship, which provides students of color scholarships and career development opportunities in the advertising, marketing, and public relations fields," Dailey-Wooley said. "With this scholarship, I will continue my education at DePaul and stay on track to blossoming in the marketing and public relations industry. I look forward to receiving this prestigious award and meeting fellow LAGRANT scholars in Washington, D.C. this month."

Congratulations to Rebecca, and here's to your continued success at DePaul and beyond.
